LIHEAP is a program that helps qualified households with their utility bills.
The Wabash Area Development, Inc (WADI) is the local agency in charge of the program in Saline County.
If you qualify for LIHEAP, contact your local Wabash Area Development, Inc. office at (618)-252-2680. Applications for the 2025-26 program are now open. You can schedule and appointment to get enrolled in LIHEAP at the Wabash Area Development, Inc. website.
To find out more about the materials you need to bring to your appointment to prove program eligibility, you can talk to WADI or review the list at the bottom of this state website.
